2022 Chicago Dutch Lions FC Internship

As a Social Media and Graphic Design Intern, I worked closely with the marketing team to strengthen the organization’s digital presence and ensure brand consistency across platforms. I was responsible for assisting with daily content creation, writing copy, and scheduling posts. I designed various social media graphics, including special announcements, game schedules, gameday information, starting lineups, score updates, coach hirings, player signings, player spotlights, and downloadable wallpapers.

Chicago Dutch Lions FC was founded in December 2020. The club played their inaugural season in 2021 with a women's team competing in the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL), the second tier in US Soccer for Women. On December 2, 2021, the club announced also joining the United Soccer League (USL) in 2022 with both a men's team in USL League Two (4th division) and a women's team in the new USL W League (2nd division). The club is led by CEO Nikhil Erlebach, who was born and raised in Hamburg, Germany and grew up playing soccer for the youth academy of Bundesliga club FC St. Pauli. 2021.
